UiPath for Coding Agents: The Interesting Part Is After the Prompt

UiPath has introduced UiPath for Coding Agents, a toolset that lets coding agents work with the UiPath platform from the terminal and IDE.

UiPath is positioning the CLI and its agent skills around the full automation lifecycle. An agent can scaffold workflows, run validation and tests, package an artifact, and promote it through the same governed environment as the rest of an automation portfolio.

What this means for us:

  • The barrier to entry for building automations has lowered - simple automations can be built in a matter of minutes
  • Better auditing & optimization
  • Development & maintenance becomes more efficient

With this new development, the focus now moves from simply implementation but to understanding the business problems and context.
